These cups are created to honour friendship given and received. Kenn Gill, a mentor in my life, once said, “We move at the speed of relationships.” I have found this to be true. The challenge for me is that I often focus on projects rather than people.   Every initiative is designed to serve people, to make life better, easier, kinder – rich in mercy and truth. As an introvert committed to humanity's well-being, I often miss the relational part. Kenn and many others in my life remind me that love requires vulnerability, time, and connection in community. So, while now in my sixties, I am reminded of this truth, and the cup of friendship given to me, that I can now literally give to others, metaphorically and tangibly.
